EU Customers

EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you're a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order — without giving any reason. This is often called the "cooling-off period," and it's protected under EU consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and EU Directive 2023/2673.

What's changing under EU Directive 2023/2673

As of June 19, 2026, EU Directive 2023/2673 requires online sellers to make the withdrawal right easy to exercise electronically. That means we provide a clearly visible withdrawal function — the form below — so you can cancel your purchase directly, without paper forms or complicated steps. When you use it, you'll confirm your request and provide your name and the details of the order you're cancelling, and we'll send you a confirmation by email.

How to exercise your right

If you qualify and want to withdraw from your purchase, here's how it works:

  1. Submit the form. Complete the withdrawal form below within your 14-day window to let us know you want to cancel. We'll email you a confirmation of your request.
  2. Send the product back. Return the physical item to us. You're responsible for the return shipping cost.
  3. Receive your full refund. Once we receive the returned product, we'll refund your order in full.

Good to know

  • The 14-day cooling-off period starts from the day you receive your goods.
  • Certain products may be exempt from the right of withdrawal (for example, perishable goods or sealed items that can't be returned for hygiene reasons). If your order is affected, we'll let you know.

Returns
We have a 30-day return policy on new and which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to contact us with any of the below areas are met.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return see “To Complete Your Return” Below.

Damaged/Defective Products

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Items that have been damaged due to customer use are not returnable. Because RC cars are a high use activity item, and there are a variety of ways an RC car can be damaged or abused, we are glad to take a look at any parts in question that have been damaged within the 30-day period of our Warranty. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
Exchanges can include items that were ordered incorrectly and need a different item. We happily take exchanges providing they are in brand new condition and in the original packaging. See "To Complete Your Return” section below.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. This usually takes 24-48 hour. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.


Warranty
Our warranty on all items is 30 days. Within this 30 days, we replace all broken parts free of charge providing we do not see intentional abuse of the product. We require photos of all parts in question and a proof of purchase. Vehicles are not replaced, rather than, we replace individual defective/broken parts to make sure the vehicle is proper working order. As a side note, we are not Amazon and we don’t sell on Amazon. We do not accept returns just because. Just like the full-size vehicle you bought, you work with the dealership to get it right. We are here to interact with our customers and make you feel better about our brand and our products during a warranty issue. We’re here for you and for the hobby.


Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. A copy of your return will be emailed.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund contact the payment method company used. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@hbplusrc.com

Sale items
Sale items are non returnable.

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, the standard refund/damaged/exchanged policies apply.

Shipping To Us
To return your product, review above policies for your type of return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs back to us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible or liable for items lost in transit. We are responsible for items once they show delivered.

Return Shipping to You
Returns are typically received, processed and shipped within 3 business days. Once processed, an email with tracking information will be sent. All returns ship via USPS, UPS or Fedex. Only PO boxes will ship with USPS. Standard lead times, depending on the difference in location within the USA, are anywhere between 1 and 7 business days. For international return shipping time will greatly vary depending on a number of factors outside of our control. We will do our best to estimate the timeline on a case-by-case basis.

To complete your return:
1. Email us at hobbyplusinfo@gmail.com with the following information: 
     a. Include original receipt of purchase.
     b. Include clear photos of the product being returned or any damaged product.
     c. You are responsible for return shipping costs
     d. Obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMA) and a ship to address.
     e. Include RMA number on outside of box
     f. Pack items so they are not loose or will not be damaged in transit.
